Christmas Deco in Maputo

Happy Holy-Days from Mozambique!
What do you do when it’s Christmas, and you live where there are no Pine Trees and no money to buy artificial trees?
You make them out of empty plastic bottles from the Bocaria (local garbage dump)!
When Tracey & I took two of the Center girls to downtown Maputo to do some Christmas shopping for our local community’s elderly widows, we found plastic-bottle Christmas Trees dotted around town.

Traffic circle just outside of downtown.

Downtown Maputo in front of Courthouse.

Traffic circle between Zimpeto Center and Maputo.

I’m nearly done with my Christmas shopping, save for 2 new babies I admitted to our community Milk Program last week.
God bless every one of you that gave your time, finances and prayers to bless the children and people of Mozambique this most Wonderous Season of Immanuel. I’m excited for the Great Day to arrive, and to share pictures with you all!
We are united in prayer,
Sheri Graham, Missionary to Mozambique
